About Us

Ancient Greece Remains

The idea of Aki's Recipes came about during a conversation at our family dinner table. My wife, Pam Koliopoulos mentioned that some of her coworkers requested that she bring them some more of her salad dressing that she made for a holiday party at the dental office. My children and I all agreed that her dressing was exceptional and the idea of Aki's Recipes began coming together on my way to work the following morning.

'Aki' is a universal Greek acronym that is added to the end of any name, that insinuates 'small' or 'little' much like the Hispanic 'ito.' My name is Lycourgos but since the day I was born I have been referred to as Aki.

Now let's get to the important part. The goal of Aki's recipes is to provide our consumers with the best authentic and original Greek recipes possible from every part of Greece. The recipes did not arrive from a famous chef or the laboratory of an industrial kitchen, but from grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, and fathers from all over Greece that have influenced the recipes that my wife and I have come up with. If we do not like it, we do not sell it. Our taste experts consist of our consumers, our friends, and our children. Our products consist of Greek salad dressings, marinades, and an array of spices. Our spices are for any type of cooking and have evolved over 40 years worth of Greek Easters, barbeques, family gatherings, Christmases, and parties.

We respect our consumer's feedback and we want to hear from you and find out what you think so we can always improve and try to give you the best.

Other than our Famous Greek Salad Dressing we also offer marinades for beef, lamb, poultry and pork. We also have a mix of spices for every occasion. If you sprinkle them to your Steak, lamb, hamburger, chicken, turkey, pork chop or any seafood you will feel the satisfaction of a great meal when you eat them and you will be complimented by everyone that tries your cooking.
